Fathom V by Beaufort is inspired by the work of Shakespeare, The Tempest (in which Shakespeare evokes images of violent weather, shipwrecks and magical islands), the main theme ofFathom V is a phrase taken fromAriels Song within the play. Five lies from your father; Their bones are made of coral; Those are pearls that were his eyes; Nothing about him that fades away, But it undergoes a radical change into something rich and strange. Song by Ariel The ever-changing state of the sea constantly changing between calm and wilderness is our starting point here. Explored through the use of apparently contradictory raw materials in overdosed concentrations: Salt meets soil, sparkling herbs mix with dark mosses, bright floral notes meet intense dark spices and pepper. Contrasting the top and the bottom, light and shadow, we imagine the changing state of the sea: its intensity, the charm of its dark depths. A fragrance for the intrepid: challenging preconceived notions of what aquatic really means.
